Burks is a Christian hip-hop artist and producer whose music is deeply rooted in faith and personal growth. Growing up in the church as a preacher’s child, Burks was exposed to Christian hip-hop from an early age, with the Crossovers serving as his biggest inspiration. He began producing beats for his older brother, Fisher, before stepping into the spotlight as a rapper at the age of 18.
After giving his life to Christ at a young age, Burks’ faith was tested and strengthened, with a pivotal moment in 2019 marking the turning point in his walk with God. He emphasizes the importance of trusting God through every season of life, and his music reflects that message. With his rebranding as BURKs, he’s entering a new chapter in his career, centered around the theme of Ecclesiastes 3: "There is a season for everything under the sun."
